Observation Deck Entry Notice

Observation Deck

I. Opening hours:

(I)Daily from 06:30 to 22:30。

(II)The observation deck shall be closed when the instantaneous wind speed reaches 37 knots.

(III)The observation deck may be closed due to other special factors.

(IV)The actual opening hours shall be determined based on onsite announcements.

II. Capacity:

(I) 300 people.

(II) Control measures shall be implemented once the number of visitors reach 300.

III. Prohibited items:

(I) General prohibited items:

  1. Pets are prohibited (except pets placed in pet cages and guide dogs).
  2. Dangerous and flammable items and trolleys are prohibited.
  3. Eating, drinking, and smoking are prohibited.

(II) Flight-related prohibited items:

  1. It is prohibited to throw any object or other waste onto the ramp.
  2. It is prohibited to deploy objects that may affect flight safety such as kites, sky lanterns, lights, drones, aerial cameras, remotely controlled aircrafts, balloons, or other floating or mobile objects that may affect the flight safety of aircrafts.
  3. It is prohibited to use focused projection lights or laser beams on aircrafts.

(III) Where a passenger is suspected of carrying dangerous or flammable items in his/her baggage, the Company may request the passenger to clarify and request the passenger to cooperate with inspections. Where the passenger refuses inspections, he/she shall be regarded as carrying dangerous items and the Company may refuse his/her entry.

(IV) In the event of a violation of the aforementioned prohibited items, the Company may request the passenger to leave the premises. Where the passenger refuses to cooperate, the Company may, along with the Aviation Police Bureau, remove the passenger from the premises and impose penalties in accordance with the Civil Aviation Act and related aviation security regulations. The maximum penalty is NT$1.5 million.

IV. Other notices:

(I) To prevent long queues for entering the observation deck and ensure the viewing quality of all visitors, the Company may implement control measures on the duration of visitors’ stay and require visitors to form queues and take numbers for entry when the number of visitors exceeds 300. The number of visitors shall be limited to 300 people per session and each session shall be 30 minutes. Please cooperate with the guidance of onsite service personnel. Where the number of visitors in the mall on the 5th floor reaches 1,100 people, the Company shall impose controls on the number of visitors permitted in the viewing elevator leading to the mall on the 5th floor.

(II) Children less than 6 years old must be accompanied by adults. Each adult may accompany a maximum of 4 children and he/she shall be responsible for the safety of the children.

(III) As the wind may be strong on the observation deck, please pay close attention to your belongings (e.g. hats and umbrellas) and avoid having them blown away by the wind which may affect flight safety.

V. The Entry Guidelines shall be implemented based on the latest announced version. Matters not stipulated in the Guidelines shall be processed in accordance with relevant laws of the government and related announcements and regulations of the Company. If you have questions, please consult onsite service personnel.

VI. The Guidelines shall take effect upon approval and the same shall apply to amendments.
