*Before Traveling, Check Passport Is Still Valid 6 Months.

In international practice, most countries and territories may refuse entry to a foreign visitor if their passport will expire less than six months after the date of arrival. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) reminds ROC passport holders to check well in advance that their passport will remain valid for at least six months after commencing their journey. If the remaining validity period of your passport is insufficient, please apply as soon as possible to renew your passport to the MOFA Bureau of Consular Affairs, a MOFA branch office in Taichung, Chiayi, Kaohsiung or Hualien, or your nearest ROC overseas mission (if you are residing or traveling abroad).

Note: You may apply to renew your passport if your existing passport has less than one year to run, or is not a biometric passport (e-Passport).
