11 Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (TTIA) is thriving once more after weathering the pandemic and reopening the border. In early June, Taoyuan International Airport Corp. (TIAC) held the awards ceremony for the Service Models of the Year, recognizing 50 exceptional partners from the Airport Service Alliance whose heartfelt service has left a positive impression of Taiwan on all travelers. "At TIAC, we believe in serving our passengers," said TIAC Chairman Yang Wei-fuu at the ceremony as he credited the joint efforts of all colleagues for TTIA's impressive performance in the ACI/ASQ and Skytrax rankings over the past few years. This year, a new award category, Epidemic Prevention Models, was added to honor those who stood bravely at the forefront and made significant contributions to epidemic prevention during the pandemic. Kind-Hearted Driver Assists Elderly Couple with Their Luggage Li Tai-jun, a driver who voluntarily joined the anti-epidemic taxi fleet, once transported an elderly couple in their 80s returning from the United States to their hometown Qijin, Kaohsiung, arriving after 2 a.m. at their home - an old apartment without an elevator. Despite feeling exhausted after a long day of driving, Li couldn't leave them stranded and, in an act of kindness that touched them deeply, assisted the couple with their five large suitcases to the 4th floor. A Patient Helper for Transit Passengers Huang Yi-jun, an officer of the Special Duty Brigade, Border Affairs Corps, National Immigration Agency, is hailed for handling unexpected incidents involving international passengers with empathy and compassion. With Huang's patient assistance, a German woman with dementia who became confused and refused to board her connecting flight at TTIA, as well as an Indonesian man who lost his passport while intending to transit to the United States for a new job and a fresh start, were both able to board their flights and reach their intended destinations. A Proactive Provider for Traveler Needs As an exclusive VIP receptionist at Huan Yu VIP Terminal, Zeng Min-you always proactively identifies travelers' needs and provides them with solutions. Once, he noticed an elderly couple near Gate D2, looking around and seeming confused. Zeng approached them and found them looking for the Plaza Premium Lounge in Terminal 2 but went in the wrong direction. Aware that walking back would take more than ten minutes, he drove them to the escalator below the Plaza Premium Lounge and guided them to the correct location. Going forward, all partners from the Airport Service Alliance will continue to uphold the spirit of service, enhance their professionalism, and create memorable experiences for passengers. 曾敏祐因工作需求而擁有電動車駕照。 Zeng Min-you has an electric vehicle driver's license due to work needs. 機場動態Airport in Motion
